To taste some of the very best Pinot Noir wines made in this country, you need to visit the Willamette Valley in Oregon. Winemakers both local and international have made the valley home to create these

incredible wines. Being on the scene in the early days of winemaking, Paul Durant and his family define the idea of what it is to be a winegrower. While attending the Willamette Valley Pinot Noir Auction we met up with Paul the day before to chat about the vineyard and the wines. Paul always wanted to be a farmer…and he made his dream happen, but not in the way you might think.

Listen to Paul on our Vino Lingo segment defining the wine term “Austere”.
