Gustavo Gonzalez, Winemaker and CoFounder of Mira Winery in Yountville was our guest on Podcast #490 back in May of this year. That one was on the phone and this one is in person. Mira Winery sits within walking distance of the town of Yountville and is well worth the walk. Or drive. It was a pleasure to be back in person with winemakers.

Our very first interview with Sam Baxter dates back to November of 2009, Podcast #9. We’ve done a few more interviews over the years between, so it was good to catch up once again. I visited Sam at the home of Terra Valentine on Spring Mountain in May. While the earth was still scorched from the recent fire, the view from his property was simply breathtaking. Sam makes great wine and I am a fan. I have no problem admitting it. Why not learn about one more great wine, right?
