It’s really something to see how just under five acres off of Silverado Trail in Napa Valley can produce some really excellent wine. That’s Tierra Roja. Linda Neal owns Tierra Roja and for this 2021 vintage she is debuting her new winemaker, Benoit Touquette. Linda has been a dear friend for many years and I was able to join her for the 2018 vintage release dinner at the Las Vegas Country Club, two weeks ago. Not only did invited guests taste the new vintage, but 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 as well. Hows that for good luck in Las Vegas!

Linda Neal has long been a friend of the podcast dating back to our first interview with her in 2010. Linda owns Tierra Roja Vineyard on Silverado Trail in Napa Valley and a lot has changed in the last ten years.. But one thing hasn’t and that is the quality of the grapes she grows. She makes one Cabernet Sauvignon and it’s some of the best you can find in Napa. Through fires, earthquakes and Covid, Linda keeps on keeping on. The determination and love are apparent in the glass.
