Linda Neal has long been a friend of the podcast dating back to our first interview with her in 2010. Linda owns Tierra Roja Vineyard on Silverado Trail in Napa Valley and a lot has changed in the last ten years.. But one thing hasn’t and that is the quality of the grapes she grows. She makes one Cabernet Sauvignon and it’s some of the best you can find in Napa. Through fires, earthquakes and Covid, Linda keeps on keeping on. The determination and love are apparent in the glass.

We’ve interviewed Tor Kenward of Tor Kenward Family Wines both in 2010 and 2012 and each visit was a total pleasure. Tor’s success (featuring vineyards such as Beckstoffer To Kalon, Tierra Roja, Cimerossa and Melanson JUST to name a few) is major simply because, his wines are excellent. And for what its worth, he’s a damn nice guy. These seemed like good reasons to revisit the program.
This conversation from 2010 was recorded on a lovely warm evening at Tor’s home in the north end of Napa Valley.
Enjoy!
