This week on our Vino Lingo Video segment we feature a favorite term, “ASDIN”. Well, actually an acronym. This one is defined by Rebecca Sciandri Griffin of Sciandri Family Vineyard in the Coombsville district of Napa Valley. Learn more by visiting www.sciandrivineyards.com.
This podcast takes us into a slightly
different area of the wine business, but still with a focus on family
winemaking. Rebecca Sciandri Griffin and Elise Nerlove Rutchick are
both part of Save The Family Farms, which is based in Napa Valley.
Rebecca is from Sciandri Family Vineyards and Elise, from Elkhorn
Peak Cellars. You may remember Rebecca from podcast #170 featuring
her late father Ron, released in December of 2015. We met up with
Elise and Rebecca at the Sciandri
Vineyards in Coombsville just outside
the city of Napa. Winemakers work hard. It’s important to see that
few businesses do retail, wholesale, manufacturing, legal,
hospitality, compliance as well as working hand in hand with mother
nature.
