Podcast #300-Kasey Wierzba of Shady Lane Cellars, Leelanau Peninsula, Traverse City, Michigan

December 17, 2018by Ray FisterNo Comments

There is a great deal of pride that goes with making Michigan wine. These winemakers are creating some very special wines that are just waiting to be discovered. In fact there are nearly 200 operating wineries in the state. We caught up with one of those winemakers in November during our Michigan wine tour. Kasey Wierzba is Winemaker at Shady Lane Cellars on the Leelanau Peninsula near Traverse City. The tasting room is unique and the wine is very good. Kasey has tireless energy which from outpoint of view, is fueled by grapes.
