Podcast #390 – Stephen Webber, Winemaker, Montinore Estate, Willamette Valley, Oregon

June 29, 2020by Ray FisterNo Comments

Wine education should be fun. You swirl, you sniff, you taste and you smile. Stephen Webber, Winemaker at Montinore Estate in the Willamette Valley likes to keep things uncomplicated. Stephen hails from England, the home of many fine wine lovers. He made wine in Australia and Alsace, which proved to be a great influence on his road to Montinore. We spoke with Stephen via phone a couple weeks ago and I found him to be a real pleasure to chat with. Wine should be fun and it should be serious…but not too serious.

You can hear Stephen on our Vino Lingo segment defining the term “Acid Driven”
