Podcast #523 – Herve Birnie-Scott, Founder Terrazas de las Andes, Mendoza, Argentina

January 16, 2023by Ray FisterNo Comments

When is comes to growing wine at high altitudes, Mendoza, Argentina is pretty much the place to go. Herve Birnie-Scott is founder of Terrazas de las Andes and has vast experience in high altitude wine. I spoke with Herve by phone at the end of December and I was captivated by his entry into Argentinian wine. Best of all I’ve tasted several of these wines. All I can say is find them as soon as you can.

You can also hear Herve on our Vino Lingo segment defining the term “Mountain”.
