Most of our listeners know that to be a winery owner as well as winemaker is no simple task. The business demands much of your time, but this is where Rosa Fierro shines. Wine, simply put, is her passion and love. Rosa not only produces around 1000 cases annually but she also spends a great deal of time in the tasting room, which is located in Vasco Row, Livermore Valley. I caught up with Rosa in the tasting room just a few weeks ago to get an idea of how she found her way to wine.

Steven Mirassou knows the name of the game in Livermore Valley is Cabernet Franc. He also knows that this area makes many other world class wines, which often surprises people.
