The Pinot Noir grape grows exceptionally well in the Grand River Valley AVA of Ohio. In fact many vinefera grapes do well in this section of Ohio wine country. Tony Kosicek, owner of Kosicek Vineyards in Geneva learned about grape farming young with the Concord grape. Today Tony’s Winery sits on route 534 and has been steadily growing and diversifying. We met with Tony a couple weeks ago at the winery after only just discovering them last year.
