The 1880’s were a fantastic time for wine in Livermore Valley. Concannon Vineyard had its start in 1883 and the founder, James Concannon had the vision to make Bordeaux style wines in the state of California. Today we met with Senior Director of Winemaking James Foster and learn a bit about his history in winemaking. It is a fact that he never wanted to be anything other than a winemaker.
