The wines of Michigan are without a doubt, impressive. But so are many of the wineries themselves. That in itself is a good reason to visit. Mari Vineyars is the type of winery you might expect to find in Italy or Napa. But Mari in on the Old Mission Peninsula in Traverse City and the winemaker is Sean O’Keefe. There was a lot of snow on the ground the day we met up with Sean so we headed to the cellar to the safety of barrels to chat about our favorite subject.
