This program was originally recorded and broadcast in July of 2009. I interviewed Miljenko “Mike” Grgich at the Grgich Hill Estate Winery in Napa Valley for the very first time and realized I was in the presence of a legend. After all, the Chardonnay he made that won the Tasting of Paris is now is the Smithsonain. Mike has a great sense of humor and joy of life, so it was easy to chat with him. I wanted to re-run this podcast considering he turned 97 back in April. April 1st, in fact.
