Vino Video Podcast 780 – Coombsville AVA Napa Valley, Why is it Special?

March 5, 2026by Ray FisterNo Comments

There are many AVA’s in Napa Valley, in fact Napa Valley itself is an AVA. The Coombsville AVA is located just east of downtown Napa and is something not found in the other viticultural areas of the Valley. Coombsville features softly rolling hills and peaceful country roads with vineyards of all sizes. Not glitzy and not super touristy, it is a place to chill and drink incredible wine. I spoke with several vintners in Coombsville during Premiere Napa Valley Week and got an insiders look at the place that grows premium grapes for exceptional wine.
