When I’m back in my home state of Ohio I always try to record a podcast interview featuring some of the areas finest winemakers. Way back in 2017 I recorded my first interview with Tony Kosicek of Kosicek Vineyards which was podcast 216, ironically, the Cleveland area code. This time I caught up with Tony’s daughter and Assistant Winemaker Emma Kosicek. As the next generation moves into the wine business we see them absorb experience and create their own road to fine wine. Emma was great fun to chat with and without a doubt, Tony must be very proud!

Yakima Valley in the state of Washington has its own special identity when it comes to wine. But getting wine lovers to notice can be a challenge. Marissa Dineen is the Owner and Vintner at Dineen Vineyards and she visited Milwaukee recently where her family has roots. But family was only part of the visit as she met with local wine merchants to offer tastings of the exceptional Dineen label. And she met with me too! And that was fun!
A special thanks to Robert DeToro of the Landmark Building for letting us use their space.
Also thanks to Lee Crooks for additional audio editing.
