Imagine how great it would be to end up becoming a winemaker ten minutes from where you grew up? That’s exactly what happened to Alex Stewart, Winemaker at Quilceda Creek in Washington State. Washington is the second largest wine producing state and Quilceda Creek has been around since 1978.

Red wines are the name of the game and Alex filled us in on their long history as well as their continuous drive for quality. If you don’t know Washington wines by now, you need to make up for lost time.

You can also hear Alex on our Vino Lingo segment defining the term “Cold Stab.” Wine terms defined by the winemakers themselves!
