Brook Bannister entered the wine business after his mother, who started the business, had to step away. But it’s not as simple as that. Bannister Wines had it’s beginnings in an uncommon way. Brook continued his mothers endeavor and became a winemaker after growing up surrounded by the business. We met with Brook at the cellar in Healdsburg during a quiet Saturday morning surrounded by the sleeping barrels.
