Northeast Ohio has a long history of growing exceptional wine grapes as well as a past history of Concord grapes. Over the years, many of the Concord vineyards have been replanted to Vitis Vinifera to take advantage of the Grand River Valley AVA. Laurello Vineyards has been down that parth. Kim Laurello is Co-Owner and Co-Winemaker at Laurello Vineyards in Harpersfield, Ohio, along with her husband Larry. I caught up with Kim mid-harvest on one of the last warm days of September.

You can hear Kim on our Vino Lingo segment defining the term “Juicy”

You can also hear Larry Laurello defining the term “Holy Shit Wine”

And you can hear Cellarmaster Shane Horstmann define the term “Italian Water”
